In Fall 2020, due to COVID restrictions, AFROPUNK decided to create a single global online version of their annual in-person music and culture festival–PLANET AFROPUNK.

Leading up to the festival, developed individual marketing plans for each sponsor including Target, Bose, Grubhub, Verizon, and Ben & Jerry’s to aid the sales team in securing millions in funding to provide a totally free festival experience. Additionally, independently developed and implemented the global marketing plan, media, content, and activation strategy which utilized social media, PR, influencers and the Google network. The plan generated hundreds of thousands of views of the festival globally with thousands of mentions online. Due to its success, the festival has been renewed for Fall 2021.
